I am publishing a 2nd On This Day post today for February 29th, since the year in which I am generating and posting these is not a leap year.  I need to try to remember to repost that entry in the next leap year so it gets on the proper date.

1860 - Death: Charlotte Batman, Crawford County, Indiana

1916 - Birth: Arnold Peter Keppers, Minnesota

1920 - Arrival: Clarence Leroy Whitman, Southampton, England

2008 - Death: Ursula Elizabeth Keppers, Albany, Stearns, Minnesota

As you might expect, it's a rather short list.
